We used Maveric 8 years ago. They did a decent job. Went a couple of weeks over time but the full budget was clear up front. Our big issue was we are in a windy location the the standard windows they used, Dowell, would leak during wind and rain. We had to replace a large,4m wide, sliding door as the standard product was not up to scratch.
I think getting the right foreman is a critical factor. Ours was good he communicated well and dealt with problems efficiently.
Neighbours used Wilson's last year and I think the build went ok. They had an 18 month delay to get started. He had to threaten cancelling the job to get them moving.
Another neighbour used ???, sorry cannot recall, 9 years ago and signed the contract got handed a bottle of bubbly with an invoice for the non-standard inclusions. Needless to say they were not happy. Some of the finishes were not up to scratch either.
I know people who have used Ronald Young and Leyden and they were both pretty happy. Leyden were dearer than Maverick which is why we went with Maverick.
I've heard poor comments about Creative.
