I don't really use my phone much for calls/text, wouldn't mind seeing the $15.00 prepaid plan with more allowance then $250 and 400mb or perhaps a middle plan $20.00 with 10% discount on it with $500 calls and bit more data to make it worth wild

1.5GB is more than enough data for projected usage, so I'm not worried about data rollover at the end of the month.

Their will be some people upset about it and maybe churn over to woolies :)

Pros:

  • Quick Port directly from Telstra to Woolies
  • No coverage issue since porting
  • Great Prepaid deals plus 10% by having a woolies reward card
  • Mobile APP is great to have with up to date on data usage when in use (Love the Finger Print on the APP)
  • 30 Days recharge instead of Telstra's silly 28 days
  • Some other MNVO Providers have SMS/Text lag (read reports from different wp users) i can say i don't have that issue with Woolies even apps like whatsapp/viber/ work well on Woolies Telstra network

Cons:

  • Can't think of any oh just the odd don't use a VPN when recharging for prepaid account it will get blocked :)

P.S Rod, Possible to add a paypal gateway of recharging via website and/or Woolies app ?

I pretty much use Paypal to pay for nearly everything online these days

If that's an option can it be added if possible please :)

Question: i recharged to the $13.50 prepaid plan $250 calls unlimited sms/mms 500MB data

Recharged on the 8th Oct

Let's say i run out of data around 15th of Oct, i buy an addon 250MB which says 30 days expire

So does that mean my 250MB will expire on the 15th of Nov and not the 8th of Nov when it's due to recharge ?

Also when i recharge on the 8th of Nov will the existing data eg: 250MB be used first up till the 15th of Nov then 500MB recharged on the 8th of Nov start to kick in after the 15th Nov until the next recharge will be due ?

Yes it will last for 30 days as long as you recharge your base plan before it expires. If your base plan expires, your Add-on will also expire

That's cool sorta like a data roll over up till the next due date when purchased nice i like

Was just about to say this version was out yesterday but i fell asleep after work :)

The Android version should be available in an hour or so. The iOS version will be early next week once Apple have approved.

V4.4 will follow by mid-November and will include:
- The ability to cancel recurring Add-ons (currently you have to call up to do this)
- Voicemail reset
- Voicemail enable/disable
- Detailed Woolworths Rewards listing so you can see your bonus WR points you've received as part of your Phone Plan

Hey Rod, don't know about anyone else but i find the "alert" message everytime you login to see your usage calls/data etc a tad annoying showing up all the time.

Possible for next update in the version, can you add a settings to enable/disable alerts temporally ? or least have a button some where saying "only show once a week" so everytime people login we don't have to see the "Alert" message about the xmas bonus or anything else that may be updated/changed in the future

Not trying to sound like a whinger, just stating MOO ( my own opinion )

Even a possible once off SMS to woolworths customers reminding them of the changes/bonuses in near future would be much better then "Alert" on woolies app everytime you login :)

Yeah I hear you. But for an extra $4.50 spend per month to get unlimited calls/SMS/MMS/$100 Intl kitty/2GB data – in order to get data banking as a future data buffer, don't you think this is money well spent vs the $15 sparse inclusions?

Not everyone needs unlimited calls or text, i never come close to using my $250 of calls per month, sometimes i only use $20 of it

International calls i don't need, when skype/viber/whatsapp etc can be used for that while at home or someone else's home internet

I'd rather not pay for stuff i don't need or won't use :)

Checked my woolies app

So far i've used $1.30 and have $248.70 and 16 days left

$13.50 with rewards card is nice, hope they don't get rid of it

Damnit. Bought a Starter pack a couple of weeks ago, waiting for better plans this morning before porting out from Telstra Prepaid to WW. $20 plan still the same and $15 plan gone. Very uncompetitive WW :(

Lucky i churned last month to another provider, don't need $20 recharge every month nor do i need unlimited calls

Was happy paying $13.50 shame that's no longer a thing

Noticed the Woolworths rewards card thingy doesn't apply anymore

And going from that to $20 (with no 10% discount) is actually about a 50% increase in price. For anyone in the same situation, I'd say that now is definitely the time to start looking for another provider.

Just have to search around different providers, some are still below $20 and offer great value, rare but can find them of course :)

I went from paying $13.50 to paying $9.95 per month and i'm quiet happy with my choice :D

Really doubt any provider apart from Telstra's Belong having unlimited banking unless Vodafone/Optus decide one day to do that then it make things interesting
