I got a scorptec order in around 12.40am for an EVGA FTW3 (pretty much as soon as I was able to get through checkout).
Are you saying orders made around that time are being considered early?

I'm just going on my gut feeling from reading various social media places & websites that not many people actually got through to put orders in at Scorptec until well after 1:30am vs PLE which took in thousands because their site was more accessible and cheaper.

Order status is still pending and "Awaiting Stock Availability".
Hope you're right though, would be really nice to get the order shipped within a month or so.

Supposedly Zotac have over 20,000 orders for their cards just on Amazon.
Out of interest, why is everyone jumping on the PLE store for their orders? For anything other than EVGA their prices are the comparable to others. Considering all the extra orders they're receiving, are people expecting them to get more stock compared to other stores?
I'm still catching up on half a dozen pages of reading in this thread so possibly already answered.. if it has then this is just a reminder to other people looking to buy an 3080:
PLE didn't hike the prices up $200-300 on launch day like a lot of other 'reputable' stores (MWAVE, PC CASE GEAR to mention two) so PLE's fairness was wanting to be rewarded for not ripping purchasers off.

I've seen order numbers as low as 86990, which is 7000 orders. Not all of them will be 3080s but I'd wager a very high percentage of them are given their EVGA cards are still the cheapest in AU and accepting preorders.
bout the only complaint people level at the EVGA cards is regarding that red accent piece on the end(s) of the cards. And EVGA are looking at offering a free replacement/cover for it.
it'd be nice if EVGA released a 3D printed model for the endpiece, so then people could edit and make their own.

Our orders would be very close to each other then, we might be one after another in the queue for the FTW3.

It’s like really, a first person shooter streamer needs a 3080 on day 0.

It’s basically the same as the 3080’s, which suggests it’s been crippled someway or it’s faked.
Could be deliberate in drivers.
