Something suspicious about 2080ti stock not getting replenished. Hopefully it’s not due to the super release and we get a surprise. Or a decent eBay sale.

Yes something is definitely odd. I just hope that the replacement, if there is one, isn't an absolute arse raping price wise. :(

Would you go for a cheap 2080 Super or a better quality 2080?

ie./

MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Super Ventus OC

vs

Gigabyte AORUS GeForce RTX 2080 XTREME WATERFORCE 8GB Video Card

NVidia supposedly have something new coming in October, but we'll need to wait and see. The new AMD cards are also expected then.

Cheap 2080 super. At the end of the day, you're not going to extract better performance from a premium 2080.

I've got the Inno3D 2080 Ti OC triple fan and no compaints. It was a premium grade chip (although no such thing anymore) with Samsung Ram. Happy with it and no dramas.

I think the 2070 Super is the better purchase. Almost as quick as the 2080 if not quicker in some tests.

Is anyone running a 2070 Super on a 600W PSU?
I built a system using my 1070 but it seems that card won't fit my MITX case. So I was thinking of upgrading to a 2070 Super, but the recommended PSU is 650? Anyone running on a bit less? Issues?

Easily enough on 600w. Hell, I'd feel comfortable running a 2080 on a good quality 600w PSU.

I'm personally running a OC'd 2080 Ti and 4670k on 750w. They recommend 650w just incase some nuthead decides to pair a 650w SHAW PSU with it.

I'm running a 2080TI and Ryzen 3700x on a 600W no problem at all. Inno3d here as well.

thanks both. I've got a 3900X so I guess my power draw will be the same or less than yours WillySimmonds.

Cheers, one less cost to worry about. Need to find a narrow 2070 Super now.

There should be an EVGA model that's only a 2 slot width. Otherwise Inno3D or Galax perhaps.

e.g. this one at PLE:

yeah the slot width is okay, I'm looking more for width. My current card is 140mm, so just looking for a two slot card that's sub 140mm.

Not exactly RTX related but Digital Foundry did some high FPS demonstrations using high speed video comparison

Hi guys, 4k gaming, currently have a GTX970 and its suffering haha.

Not imperative that I upgrade now but I'd like to be able to play some games again.

Rtx 2070 super or rtx2080 super or wait for something else?

2080 super at least for 4k. I'd personally wait for for 2080 ti to go cheaper

What games though? And monitor? eg my 1070 hit 60fps easily on my Dell 4K in DOOM.
YMMV depending on the game and max refresh rate of your monitor
