Up to 50% performance increase for BFV DXR via patch:
In before Anterograde spouts more hate.
Did you watch the video ? Improving DXR performance by turning stuff off. Downgrading = more frames :)
Did you watch the video ?
Did you? 30fps at 1440p Ultra to 60fps at same settings. The difference in reflections is hardly visible when looked at side by side.
Overall a great compromise.
Compromise on a $2000+ card ....
Mate, what is it with you?
The game has been out for less than a month and already there’s been a major improvement for DXR. Who’s to say this trend won’t continue? It’s early days, give it some time to develop the new tech.
It’s all about optimisation from here on out.

Multiple Developers have stated the RT target is 1080P at 60fps for good reason, it boils down to a lack of RT cores even on a 2080ti.
While improvements are very likely and expected, you are not going to see a 2080Ti being capable of 1440P at a mediocre solid 60fps let alone high hz/fps 1440P or 2160P(4K).
Most people buying high end GPU's like the 2080 ti have moved on from 1080P@60 fps, which means RT on the 20 series is "effectively" worthless for gamers.

Target is 4K 60fps. Some titles are doing over 90fps.
1080P makes no sense, for DLSS being 1440 and 2160.

You will need to post some proof, sorry I am calling utter BS.
Should add I am talking Ray Racing (RT), not DLSS.
DLSS will likely not help Ray tracing performance in case you are getting confused.

US$2499
And fitted with 24GB of GDDR6, so TechPowerUp will have to edit their placeholder page quite a bit.
NVIDIA® TITAN RTX™ is the fastest PC graphics card ever built. It’s powered by the award-winning Turing™ architecture, bringing 130 Tensor TFLOPs of performance, 576 tensor cores, and 24 GB of ultra-fast GDDR6 memory to your PC.
These are going to sell like hot-cakes for deep learning, as they are cheaper than the Quadro RTX 5000 and with more memory and cores, and better cooling.
Update: Actually, they are on the AU NVidia store site at AU$3,999, which is same price as Quadro RTX 5000 at PLE. That's NVidia using a really poor currency conversion.

I have posted several videos showing titles in action at 4K 60fps and above, along with interview videos.
If you haven't ever bothered watching a single one of them, that's not my problem.

Well post this "magical" evidence again lol
Ray Tracing on 2160p(4K)@60, that's a very large claim.
So can 1st gen RTX handle true 4k60fps with DXR? The answer is no. That was why DLSS was included. That was why you had those tensor cores. And that was why nVidia placed so much emphasis on DLSS and mentioning that they will help developers in training models for DLSS support. Battlefield V shows you why DLSS is essential and that you probably never have DXR available without DLSS.

Yeah I'm calling BS on this too.
We only have 1 title with RTR implemented and I can play @ 1440p albeit with drops in FPS. 1080p sure I can hold 60+ fps quite nicely.
I don't see how magically someone is getting 90fps 4K with RTR on nonexistent titles :)

Once the patch hits you should be able to do 1440p at stable 60fps on Ultra settings.
How long does this stupid free BFV code thing actually take?
Gigabyte says it can take up to 10 working days.
Is that typical?

Comes down to how many people they have doing the validation. They have to pay someone to do this after all.
Also on top of this, the same person may have to handle all the other promos the company is currently doing.
For me, I'm waiting for the COD code from my Asus purchase. That one says 20 working days.
