DX11: 50-60fps and GPU usage doesnt go above 70%..
Make sure future frame rendering is on, seems to do some whacky stuff.
getting weird fps issues in BFV at 4k
Stick with DX11, the stutter isn't just you.
Seems all frostbyte engine games for DX12 has stutter issues.
Hi everyone,
I am trying to return a RTX 2080 FE on Nvidia online store and just want to share you guys a ridiculous story.
I submitted my return request on 26-Sep, and received a RMA number and return label on 12-Oct (16 days later)
Then I returned it on 15-Oct and it shows they have received my returned card on 17-Oct, so I thought now everything is fine and I could get my refund soon.
But no I am totally wrong, I have contacted them so many times but still no any refund for me.
Finally, today, they sent me a email and created another RMA number and return label to me and let me return the card back to them, but now I have no any cards can return to them.
So I guess this is the end of story, since there is no any help to contact their costomer service they just know to let me wait and cannot do anything, I am so tired now, will never purchase anything on Nvidia online store again.

DX11: 50-60fps and GPU usage doesnt go above 70%..
DX12: 80-98fps and GPU usage is around 95-99% but stutters a lot, literally unplayable.
same specs except for 1440p, 99% gpu usage on dx11 no stutters

Do you have the future framerate setting on or off ?

BF 1 is working fine with dx12. 100fps avg.
I've had stuttering and hitching with both DX11 and 12, it's so annoying I don't want to play it. I actually had some in Destiny 2 this morning too though, so I don't know if it's the games, nvidia's drivers or if i've got bigger problems...
Edit: I believe I may have discovered that something connected to Asus' Aura RGB software was causing my problems. I had stuttering and hitching in Destiny 2, flicked over to Task Manager and discovered a thing called 'Lighting Service' was active and using some resources (though not that much seemingly). Anyway I killed it and after that Destiny 2 was buttery smooth. Google suggests it's part of Aura.
I'll try BFV again tomorrow...

It is easy to fix the stuttering if you turn on the future frame rendering

Apparently they have a RX 590 to be released soon but its based on Polaris.
Help!
Finally got around to installing 2080TI FE. Fans spin up and I get to log into the PC, however the card isn't being detected! There is no display adapter settings under Device Manager. The HDMI still works as I am typing this on the new card but Nvidia Control Panel is completely gone!

Thanks mate. Downloading now.
I did install these prior to switching from my 1080 via GeForce Experience. Do you always need to do this again on first boot?

That’s weird.. there should be a standard VGA adapter at least

That's what I was thinking. Upon closer inspection, it says I am running on Microsoft Basic Display Driver.
