Has anyone tried this frequent trader program and made 10 trades?

That's very good deal for frequent trader for sure !

They also sort out the issue i reported to them about combine volume of CBOE & ASX, so it almost time to move back to them from MooMoo after high interest period expires in MooMoo.

of shares from registeries: Market Link Services and/or ComputerShare to Webull?

what you mean by transferring out from registry?

You give webull your stake hin and stake statement and then transfer happens from stake to webull.

you then login to registry after say 5 days (don't do next day as it won't work) to add your holding again with new HIN that you get from Webull.

I can provide the full SRNs and recent dividends statements but they are more than than 3 months old

why dividend statement? on stake app as well as on their website you can download your portfolio statement which will be latest with all your holding details and that is what i gave to webull as a evidence of my holding. nothing else.

Stake by delayed chat/email is very annoying.

I know, that is why only do emails and it does take time but you have evidence in writing which will help you if something goes wrong.

I am going to speak to Webull Support tomorrow to see how the process works for my situation.

interesting. I am not sure if Webull or any new online broker will be of any help so best try talking to them and if it is difficult then sell the shares by paying fees through registry or through one of this website which I never used but you can ask people here who may have used them in past.

They will also charge fees for sure. Some of the fees are fixed so no matter where you go there will be fee to paid. The brokerage is something depend upon what you see more important i.e. pay one off high fees or just take headache and time to sort out through different route to save money on fees. I personally pay fee to registry who already holds all the stock info and pay them fee without wasting any time with anyone else.

this anti-China is not new and it will only grow if Trump is back. While I understand how people dislike communism due to how it is being implemented in China where there is limited/none freedom of expression of choice but everything else China is advanced economy and country.

I only use Webull as it is CHESS Sponsored and pays interest on my cash and allows free ETF trading in US as well as AU market. Their Australian arm is managed by Commsec employee who used to be on Commsec management and he is not Asian if you wondering :)

Those who uses webull and or MooMoo, I just noticed that currency exchange rate for MooMoo is 0.65802 while at the same time it is 0.66 on webull so while MooMoo claim to be better compared to Webull due to lower fee the reality is that it is better to check before doing transaction!

so you'd expect a better rate on Webull all other things being

Just check again webull $1000 AUD converts to $662.9 while MooMoo $1000 AUD converts to $663.59 USD

So while webull rate is lower it seems depending upon time we can get better rate with MooMoo.

I didn't check that one actually ! Thanks, I need to double check that again as I already submitted tax and received tax refund. Most data on prefill matched with Navexa but didn't think about moneybull interest.

funds at Moomoo

I didn't check the interest income from MooMoo and Webull. I've just confirmed that both brokers have correctly pre-filled dividend income on my ATO tax return.

However, neither broker has pre-filled the interest income earned on cash balances. I'll contact both to inquire about this and encourage them to report this information to the ATO for future pre-filling. Given that my total interest income from both platforms is below $150, I'm unsure if it's necessary to amend my current tax return. I'll include it in next year's return.

Regarding the referral bonuses from MooMoo and Webull (approximately $2000), I'm unsure of the correct tax treatment. While I didn't directly earn this income, it was received in exchange for referrals. Webull required me to make a trade to receive the bonus, while MooMoo simply credited the cash. I'm not sure if this needs to be reported to the ATO.

Both brokers provide annual summary reports, with Webull offering slightly more detailed information. However, the challenge with US-sourced dividends & month cash interest is that they provide a total annual figure without specific details about the date and exchange rate for each monthly dividend & interest payment. This makes it difficult to accurately report this income to the ATO. (It will be nightmare for me to do it for current Financial year).

On another note:

MooMoo recently launched a new app that's almost as good as Webull (Slightly better as Webull data seems to be more inaccurate or missing for Australian stocks). Here are some screenshots...!

Navexa provide for dividends not the interest earned on cash sitting in USD ..!

I get the info in monthly statement but in annual the give total interest earned not the monthly breakdown.

interest is paid daily –

Like all Australian banks who calculate interest daily and pay it monthly Webull and MooMoo both do the same thing so we only need to know FX for the day interest pay so go through 12 transaction.

I wish they start report this to ATO so we don't need to do it.

Webull and MooMoo both are really good with one key difference.

MooMoo app data and features are more updated and latest information for ASX stock while Webull not that good anymore so I have to keep account with both.

I use webull for ETF trading while MooMoo for stock trading.

Also, MooMoo money market high interest rates is better then Webull in term of usability and withdrawal.

Obviously, MooMoo $3 brokerage for stock while Webull $4.9 ..!

I had I think $1600 when I transferred my portfolio as at that time it was fix bonus.

I am waiting for them to start options trading for ASX stock and then I might transfer remaining from MooMoo to Webull.

Hope their options trading fees are cheap like their us options
