O.P.

Hi All,

We have a Server 2019 Essentials running WSUS. All appears to be OK, the devices are communicating with the server, the server is dishing out updates.

I noticed that the updates are less frequent recently after the 21h1 update via the WSUS. I found that the Win 10 OS versions appearing in WSUS are not correct. The devices are all at Win 10 19043.1052 (21h1), but WSUS is showing them as 19041.906 (2004).

Has anyone experienced this? What would be the fix?

Thanks in advance.

Have you got the stupid weather app in the taskbar update via WSUS?

If not then your missing a product in WSUS.

Make sure you have all :-

"Windows – Client, version 21H2 and later" x2
"Windows – Server, version 21H2 and later" x2
"Windows 10, version 1903 and later" x3
"Windows 10" x1

Once you have that your version should jump to 10.0.19041.1081

Yep, have the stupid weather app. Have enabled the 4x 21H2 ones, had the others.

Thanks Michael, that is my version number now. I assumed that it would match what Windows itself was reporting.
