Well the demo seems to run ok on my system. Q6600, 8600GT, 2GB ram, windows xp, although i have to play on 1280*720 rather than my native 1680*1050. pretty fun game, looks pretty nice too. anyone else tried the demo? |

DMC4 is a great game, if your PC can run it would say go out and get a copy. But if the game supports the Xbox 360 controller, I would definitely recommend getting one, I can't imagine anyone doing all the combos with the keyboard/mouse. |

On my E6300/7900GS (default settings) I got a C (low chance of stylish play) with the benchmarking tool. The average FPS was always above 27FPS (~55FPS average for the first section, ~34 for the second, ~60 for the third and ~37 for the last IIRC). Actual game repeatedly stalled upon startup and tried reinstalling to no avail, I ain't reformatting my recently formatted comp for a bloody demo. |

The game is good, I just wished it supported my logitech dual action 2 since playing this sort of game is more suited for a gamepad. Also, the tips on doing special moves are just ripped from the console version so I had to learn these moves the hard way. It's been a while since I played a Capcom game on PC, with the camera angle switching less of a pain compared to some previous titles. The performance tool gives you an idea of how it will run on the settings you choose, but it seems a bit random so I doubt it would give a very accurate idea on comparing performance on different systems. On my system I got a average of 107 in the first part, 75 on the second, 127 on the third and 68 on the fourth. All settings on default apart from res which was at native 1680x1050 on my E4300 @ 3.15GHz + 8800GT. With settings maxed out I get averages of 63, 45, 71, 44 and it didn't drop below 32fps. Overall it looks nice and plays well and doesn't preform that bad at all. |

runs not bad, with my core2duo e2160 + 8600gt + 2gig ram, looks nearly as good as ps3, though i had to run it on 1280x xxx reso on my 24" used a ps2 controller. mapped out the controls, took a while to figure out. Was going to ask if anyone knew how to get rid of the 10min thingy like old school gta2 demo, but wasnt really needed in the end as it could be finished in 10min. anyone know the release date, sometime summer websites say, im guessin sometime in june? edit: apparently its out 24th of july |

Runs pretty nice on my Q6600, 8800GT set up. Got an average of about 70fps on the performance test using 1680x1050, 2xAA, everything else high. Although the controls seriously suck. |

I found that the demo kind of demotes the DMC gameplay from the real game |

What type of controller does it support? I can use my PS2 controller. I'm certain the X360 one will work as well considering the 'tips' are based off the X360 controls. |

I just tried the demo and think it is pretty good – must have a gamepad though (on special now at Big W for $25!). Looks like a good port, and with a controller, it would be great to see more of these fast action games on the PC I reckon. I might pick it up I think. *goes to check ebay* |

I usually found Capcom and Konami ports really dodgy most of the time. The fighting music gets really tiring when you've heard it over and over. |

Well, from the Demo it seems pretty good. Has many different resoltions for PC, AA, DX10, detail settings etc. I play it on 8800gtx, 1920 x 1080 4x88 and it runs smooth as butter. Apparently Capcom are starting to put a lot more effort in PC gaming – maybe cause they joined the PCGA? If you like this style of game, I recommend you at least try the demo. |
