not an expert but maybe try turning off window wireless zero?

go to start
go to run
type in: services.msc
scroll down to the bottom of the list and double click on wireless zero and disable it. Also disable it on startup.

Only do this if you use another program for wireless.

The 604T is a dlink not a belkin. It has an evil reputation.

see /forum-replies.cfm?t=408681

I suggest it simply is a router issue. Or more exactly a dlink issue. Please check that your wireless card is not also a dlink which has an even more evil reputation for doing just this.

Green, first don't double post. But will forgive you since you are new. ;)welcome to WP. Got to Device Manager.
To open Device Manager, click Start, and then click Control Panel. Click Performance and Maintenance, and then click System. On the Hardware tab, click Device Manager.
Select the network adapter & then opposite click, go to properties. The tab on the end says 'Power management'.
Make sure there is no tick in the allow the computer to turn off this device.
If there is take it out & click apply.

Get the latest drivers for the card from the belkin website. You will probably have to open the pc to see exactly model and version of the card. (Version is vital as belkin call wireless cards the same thing but in middle of the series change manufacturer and simply change the version number).

Try moving channels on the router. There maybe other wireless devices in the area. This is a common cause of drop outs.
