Cant you switch to gmail, keep the same XXXXXXXX@hotmail/gmail.com and have gmail and hotmail set to forward your emails to gmail?
Gmail has that feature where if you reply, the email appears to come from your forwarded address ;)

Lets all jump on the Gmail bandwagon........ If you like hotmail, stick with it. If you want a better interface go Yahoo Mail.

With paid/premium, you get: - 10MB storage - POP support - no 'sent mail' deleting - no account expiry - increased attachment sizes

Way to read the page: 12 May 2003 06:10 PM.
dunno, this thread isn't about which service is better, its a straight forward question about the plus service and you gmail and yahoo fanbois come in preaching and bagging out anyone using hotmail as if you are superior.
here is the actual info: get.live.com/mailplus/features
All the benefits of Windows Live Hotmail, plus more:
* 10 GB of storage * No account expiration* * No ads from other companies, just tips and product info from Microsoft * File attachments up to 20 MB—send more photos, more documents, or almost anything you want Subscription costs $19.99 (38cents per week)
