My brother is looking for a LCD TV for his waiting room. It is going to be wall mount and he is looking for a relatively cheap but decent LCD TV around 28" in sizes. Any suggestions?

haha get a 30inch dell... awesome or go for a 42 inch LCD TV from retravision for 999.00 its called TCL tha brand and rules for the price.

Considering it isn't for a home theater etc. a cheap brand of TV should be fine, probably just pick up one of those TCL, Soniq etc. ones you see at JB Hifi and any electrical stores.

BigW have a 32" AWA LCD for $688. I've got a very similar Aiko, and it's fine.

I am in Reservoir which is really close to you and I just got myself an Acer 42" deliverd to Melbourne yesterday from WoW's Albury store for just $1357 and will get $199 back so pay just $1,158 which is $999 for the TV, $70 for delivery and $89 for extra 2 years warrenty. 5 years all up.
I placed the money directly into their bank account on Thursday afternoon about 1pm and they called me to confirm delivery about an hour later and was deliverd overnight so received on Friday.
Could not be happier with the service I received from Stephen at WoW and the LCD screen is fantastic and great value.

JB Hi-Fi has 42" Panasonic HD Plasma screen for around $1100, which seems to be a very good price
