Does anyone know how to stop receiving Optus spam from yestickets.com.au, without having to spend money to SMS a reply or spend hours on the phone trying to get off their list...I thought there were laws against unsolicited spam these days?

Doesn't look so unsolicited to me...

www.yestickets.com.au

More specifically:

www.yestickets.com.au/te...ms-condition.php

Perhaps try unsubscribing via that website, best of luck.

It's not "unsolicited spam", it's "customer communications". :-)

You could call CS on their 1800 number, or write a letter to CS.

So you have to spend money to stop them sensing unsolicited rubbish. Sounds like a way of generating income to me.

Optus SMS Spam is out of hand, about a month ago I received a promotional SMS from them at 3:34am on a Thursday morning! You'd think they'd send them at a more appropriate time......
