After juggling many Microsoft CD's around the place, and then CDs getting put in the wrong CD slip, CDs getting left around on desks, all the Product IDs that come with MS Action Pack etc are all mismatched to the CD in the slip...

Is there a Microsoft Tool that can identify what key is for what product?

A well thought out Excel Spreadsheet will do the job. That's how I track all our product keys etc.

As for actual software that can do this, maybe check out manageengine.adventnet.com/index.html - they might have something.

Thnx, but all the keys that are mismatched are for software that hasn't been installed yet...

Yeah...... there probably is one. Like if you write down or scan all of the product keys and then send the list to microsoft help desk.....then pretty sure they may have a service or tool to help you figure out which product key belongs to what package.
