Just wondering if my speed is right?

Currently with Optus Fusion DSL plan, supposingly having DSL2 speed, however, running the speed test using ozspeedtest.com, i get the following,


Broadband Speed Test Results

Test run on 12/05/2008 @ 10:21 AM

Data: 3 MB
Test Time: 55.05 secs

Your line speed is 445 kbps (0.45 Mbps).
Your download speed is 56 KB/s (0.05 MB/s).
Results for Whirlpool

does that look right?

Maybe for a 512k ADSL plan. What modem are you using?

Fusion is only available on DSL Direct and Cable. At an absolute minimum, the speed should be three times this.

To the OP - could you post your sync speed and SNR and Attenuation figures?

My point exactly..speed seems way slow.
