Ok, so i was having speed issues the other week, after TPG telling me a multitude of times that my phone line was having interference problems, my speed issues have been fixed.

I proved that it wasn't any interference, we ended up putting my modem to bridge mode and then creating a bridge connection from my xp PC to my modem... and hoorah, i got my 1000kb/s speeds back!

Tpg basically said good luck and left it there for me.

Now i have a MAC, an XBOX360, and a wireless music soundbridge which all dont have internet access.

I have not much of an idea when it comes to MACs, not too sure if xbox360's even support bridge modes, and i know that my soundbridge cant do bridge mode at all.

So basically i'm stuffed, i can take the bridge mode off and back to PPPOE, but i'll be getting speeds of around 150kb/s, at least everything will work though? Browsing speeds suffer aswell though... So its obviously not what i want to do.

Does anyone have any suggestions at all? I want my 1000kb/s download speeds and everything connected to the network actually working the way its meant to be... Thanks in advance.

~ExtortionisT~,

It appears a modem issue. Check the firewall settings in your modem?

Firewall settings? how is that going to make a difference with download speeds when a bridge connection works fine.

I dont have issues connecting to anything at all. I just cant/dont know how to connect my xbox360/mac/soundbridge via bridge mode...

That is if you set the modem back to PPPoE setup. Then you should check the firewall configuarion. If still got no sucess try to update/reflash the firmware.

Firewall was never an issue as i even put my computer on DMZ with no firewalls on to check everything.

I cannot update the firmware as all that is released is v1.0, i can try flashing it though.
