My second hard drive is not visible when I want to do a restore, I boot up and it only shows my 320GB HD and not my 500GB. my C drive is on the 320GB

Have had a similar problem when using ghost. Are you running your hard drives in native mode in the bios? If so, disable that and try. It works for ghost.
In the BIOS set the SATA mode as compatible / native. It should fix the issue.
