Does anyone have any news on why Quadra might be down today? I hadn't received any notice of server upgrades etc..

No I am in the same boat. They have been down for over 1 and 1/2 hours now.

Do you have a phone number for them?

G'day I am from Kiama, just joined when I found this site through Google and searching on "quadrahosting problems".

There is a number posted on another thread but there's little point trying to call as they're not answering right now and earlier the number returned a busy signal no doubt jammed by frustrated users. I doubt this will be an ongoing problem as QH have always provided a reliable service in the past.

Yep Same here.

Its kinda strange though. Have three sites with them, and two are fine, however the bigger one is taking like almost a minute for a page to load.

OOOps I spoke way to early, now all my sites are taking close to a minute to load...

Well and truly buggered....

Seems their back on-line again...

I'm sure they'll send us all a nice apology e-mail and explanation.

All my sites have been up all day with no problems however my email has been shot to pieces and still takes a minute per email account to check if there are any messages.

No point ringing their phone number - Jimmy told me a couple of weeks ago that they are always to busy to answer the phone so they just let it ring - their helpdesk is the best

All of my sites load fine, but cannot connect to any email accounts.

Suggest you use webmail - this works fine - they are like most web hosts from time to time suffering a denial of service attack effecting their mail server but I am sure they will get on top of it as their service and support in my opinion is always top notch
