The songs from the Warm Up Concerts 2007 show filmed last December 8th in Kuusankoski, Finland, are now available exclusively in YouTube.

These are official clips made available by the record company.
Tarja is certainly still in fine form, just listen to the performance of "Passion and the Opera" it is sensational. She certainly has a great voice so strong and powerful and she seems to be really enjoying herself which is fantastic.

Boy and the Ghost
Lost Northern Star
Passion and the Opera
My little Phoenix
Sing for me
Damned and divine
Ciaran's Well
Our Great Divide
The Phantom of the Opera
Oasis
Walking in the Air
You would have loved this
Poison
I walk alone
Calling Grace
This is also posted in the blog on her myspace For those hard core fans that would like to have the complete concert in high quality including the speeches between songs and accurate running order, we'll let you know soon how you will be able to get it. Hopefully it will be released on DVD.

They have been up for a few weeks, but I thought I would post them for those that may be interested and have not seen them yet.

Please everyone lets keep this thread on topic about Tarja. and not turn it into a Tarja Vs Nightwish thread.

Excellent! Thanks very much for posting this thread! She's still as good as she's ever been.

Just to let everyone know, I love Nightwish just as much before as I do now! Annette's style of singing is just as good, just in a different way.

When Tarja went solo, I really thought that would be the end of her but no, she's going real strong. I can't wait to see more of her!

Mine's downloading now. Not very fast though. I'm only getting 48Kb/s. They should have put it up as a torrent.

Finally got mine going, had some trouble getting it to start, downloading at 160k using IDM

And listening to "From Wishes To Eternity" on SACD while I wait for the download to finish.

Thanks for this SnakeBite. Is good to see Tarja in concert again. She seems to be more happy now then in NW. Never seen her dance or move like that on stage before. Downlonading around 400k. Once again Thank you.

Yeah she does seem to be a lot happier onstage now, which is great.

Wish I had faster internet:(

60% done and now onto End Of An Era:)

Edit: Finished the download it is fantastic, great quality, they even put subtitles in when Tarja is speaking.
I'm off to bed now will watch the whole show through my stereo tomorrow.

I used Internet Download Manager with sixteen threads open, maxed out my connection the entire download.
Have watched it through my home theatre system today, it is really fantastic, will be authoring to DVD for personal use.

Ah! So you're the reason I couldn't download it fast :) I use GetRight and it was refusing connections for more than one thread.

I had it playing all day in the background while I worked. It's pretty damn good. I haven't whacked it on the media player yet to see what it looks like on the projector.

Hehe sorry;) I only got 1500k connection and still got to use 16 threads to max the connection out on Exetel lol.

I'm sure it would have looked great on a projector.

Yeah it's a pity the audio is not in higher quality, but I guess we can't complain to much as it was free.

That was enjoyable, Tarja has such a unique voice. Does anyone know who the person dueting with her in Phantom of the Opera? There's a certain element of spark missing without Nightwish (not to turn this into a fight). How is Tarja's career fairing anyway, haven't been following her since the split.

It sure was!

Yes she sure does I could not agree more, the best female voice in metal by far!

That would be her brother Toni Turunen.

Very well in my opinion, if you have not heard her solo album it is well worth a listen. It is a mix between heavier and more classical styles, but is one very good album.

Just quickly watched Phantom of the Opera, and it does miss Marco. I'm not a fan of the more 'generic' phantom voices that are heard most often. Performance wise, her weird dancing is =/ and the dude having to take the phantom mask off to sing just looks silly. I like to nitpick :)

The sound quality even of the youtube vids sounds pretty good, actually... I've heard plenty worse. Will have to check out the whole concert.

As for Tarja being the best female vox in metal.. heheh I'm not convinced. She has a beautiful voice, but doesn't quite have the range of some of the others (Tarja for example is rarely aggressive).
