I know this probably gets asked a lot, but it's forever changing, so please forgive me if this is repeated.

I'm pulling my hair out over my Nokia E65 that seems to be dying a slow and painful death in every department, and i'm starting to look at new phones.
Basically, i want a PDA type phone with touchscreen (a discreet qwerty keyb would be nice, but not necessary). I want a windows mobile 6 phone with 3g, wifi, hsdpa and a decent camera and probably more that i can't think of right now.

Is there anything out there now that is good and matches this criteria? Any recommendations?

HTC touch dual, if it had GPS and WIFI it would be the best phone compleate.

HTC Touch Cruise would be the best option out there at the moment. It's got everything singing and dancing.
If you can wait 6 months, the Sony Ericsson Xperia might be better, especially in the camera department.

Consider the HTC TyTn II along with this if you're in the market for a keyboard. Does what the Touch Dual does, along with GPS and WiFi, but in a bigger package.

Own a 3600i, TY_TN_II and Ultimate 8502. Everyday use 8502 because of the exposed keyboard. TY_TN_II for the slightly bigger screen. 3600i for the more durable and robust device with a silicon case. Load the SPB programs + Resco programs, Core Player and they do everything you could possibly require.

Of the two phones I mentioned above, the Xperia is the only one with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
The Touch Cruise uses a soft keyboard.
After 2 or more years of using a JasJam with a slide-out QWERTY, about the only time I have used the slide-out keyboard (after the initial playtime) was to press R for hard-reset. (or whatever the key was).
I've found stylus and soft keyboard much faster and easier.

HTC P3600i, $10+$29Cap (up to $120 call credit) x 24 months from Three.

PDA with WM6, phone, 2MP camera, wifi, blue tooth, infrared, GPS (comes with copilot & wind screen mount), 1gb SD card & blue tooth head set, outlook 2007 & activesync included.

Very good value for money, I'd say.

Id have to say P3600i on the $49 cap! its better value for money. but that aside the phone is really great and it also packs a 500MHz processor vs most of the other 420MHz processors. not to mention it has wifi gps and bluetooth

+1 for the HTC TyTN II..

The only things it's really missing (IMHO) are an FM radio, and maybe a better camera (with flash).

Played with it, seemed much more responsive then my JASJAM. Keyboard was different, but something I think I could get used too.

Only downer was the screen resolution after playing with a 9502.

No. I am currently waiting for a decent touch screen phone as well. All the current phones have significant problems.

LG KS20 has everything you said except a decent camera. It's 2mp so its not bad per se but relatively it isn't that great. It looks pretty good and has windows mobile 6 and I was going to get one then realised I didn't really have to much use for wlan.

The phone is only available in europe and asia though so you have to import it. Although there are good ebay stores around that do import them to australia and offer a years warranty.

But it's anoying that the 850 version only comes with the touch qwerty, not the touch keypad which is on the normal version.

Dual is good for people that dont need gps and wireless basically.

iPhones probably have the best touch screen technology, but wouldn't get one till the 3g version is out.

But only 64mb ram which is it's main downfall.

Love the HTC Touch Cruise. The Tytn 11 is pretty much the same and has great features. Apparently the loud speaker playing music is very impressive (can anyone confirm this? ..and/or confirm whether the Touch Cruise has the same sound quality?)

I cant wait for the HTC Touch Diamond to come out. This looks like it is pretty decked.

if i remember correctly that's the samsung processor

I know the Tytn II and Touch Cruise have the video problems but the chip which is a 400mhz processor is based on qualcomm chipset which is the micro-equivalent to dual core so in reality is faster than the samsung processor

I've had both photes and out of the box the Samsung 500mhz (p3600i) is much faster and the TC (Qualcomm) seems a lot laggier. But by the time i loaded up everything on the p3600i to make it more functional (as in the touch today screen and all the other goodies like mem manager2) it was a lot slower than out of the box.

Also i've heard that Windows Mobile cannot take advantage of dual processor so it's really not faster.
