Have had Optus cable for years now, back in the days where there were no usage metres, just the guides where you had to stick to the average downloads? Or however it use to work. |

The majority of people on WP will use all their limit you'll find. I use all of mine 20/40 plan and could do with another 500GB or so haha As soon as TPG enables my DSLAM I'm moving to ADSL2+ on the 150GB plan. |

On 12/24 - the 12gig is usually gone before the end of the month purely because there is 4 people using it. |

I use up my 20/40 1500k plan constantly. I'm pretty much capped in 2 weeks. I've also got Optus to slow my connection down to 1000k to help me stop my downloads. It doesn't work! I need more download quota with slower speeds lol. Damn premium rapidshare account... |

I've just upgraded from the 12/24 plan to the 20/40 after going over the limit way too soon each month for the last 6 months or so. I'm keeping an eye on the usage meter (I've said it before and will again - STILL don't trust it!) and it looks like the same thing will happen even on the new plan. I'm with Davo - if only we had ADSL2 now - I need all the GBs I can get! ;-) |

I think the logic is if you don't reach you quota and you hardly use jack all, then you might as well change to a different plan that is better value... |

Last month on my 20/40 plan, I used it all up in a week and a half. Yup.. Bad me.. I usually do it all the time, but now I've decided to use all my off peak for torrents, etc and on peak for browsing, updates and Doctor Who.. ^_^ |

Whirlpool has more power users than average users. I am on the 20/40GB and we are always over what we are meant to be at. My Little brother likes to listen to "music" with youtube (What a waste of data) I myself use 40-50GB any my older brother gets whats left over (10-15GB). |

I always use most of my 60gig :) I make sure to not blow it all at the start tho by breaking the month up into 10day segments in the first 10days i try to stay under 5-6gig peak and around 10gig off peak. |
