Are there any old letsgo customers that moved over to internode naked dsl?
what's the process like and how long does it take?

I was juggling between internode and iinet, was gonna go the iinet path since it was $50pm for the quota plan i was lookin at. Then I found out they were counting uploads to your quota and i might have to port over to telstra infrastructure which might end up taking more than 4 weeks...

then internode became my first choice after...but.

i did a little researching on the internode site and it seems they don't provide a very comprehensive free phone service with the naked dsl price. 'Outbound only' will not do as my mum still makes the average number of 70-100 phone calls a month, and inbound/outbound is a must - which is provided by another nodephone service for an extra $10...

I went from letsgo to internode naked and things couldnt be better The problem i had was the letsgo number they gave me wasnt on telstra's number data base as it was a new optus prefix so i first had to wait 2 weeks no port to telstra so i rang telstra they said a problem so ported again then 2 weeks rang telstra again they said that my number wasnt in telstra database and had to wait 2 months for the number prefix to be added to telstra data base then 4 weeks latter a paki rang me and said that the request to update my number prefix to testra database had only just been received so it would take 2 months from now to update :| so testra offered me a new connection for free so i took it then i was on telstra then i had to wait 3 weeks for my internode naked connection and i havent looked back since internoe rock they have downloads from newsgroups for free just need a news group client they dont count uploads their downloads are always fast the game pings are ½ what i got from letsgo, and node have free online radio, free steam downloads, free windows downloads and i havent had 1 dropout so it was well worth the change from letsgo to internode As for voip telephone i use www.pennytel.com i get 80 free calls 50 free sms 10.5 cents per minute to mobile and 8 cents a call to anywhere in australia and 70 countries untimed and 16 cents per minute to overseas mobile pennytel cost $5 a month to make and receive calls includes the 80 calls and 50 sms for the $5 a month i activated node phone 1 as a backup to pennytel but pennytel have been well worth it I got a billion 7404vgp-m voip modem router from a pc shop for $187 saves paying $300 from node and all is good

Is it just me or is the post above me the biggest sentence anyone has ever read LOL.

Anywho, AvexDevil, I think you will find that Internode is well worth the extra $10. WELL worth it.

for $10 pm internode gives you Nodephone 2 which gives you inbound and outbound... but for the $10 you also get $10 worth of calls... so if you use more then $10 pm its free...
