My Galaxy 8800GT i got was, i bought it as a generic 8800GT but they told me they are Galaxy 8800GT's, but mine i got for $256 perth prices and the card came with the CoolerMaster Fan and Ram Heatsinks version. I have gotten an oc before of 740/1150 but i have tried clocking higher and it was stable. But i usually keep it stock because if i need more peformance ill overclock it if i dont ill keep it stock.

Ahh ok, I got confused cos u were comparing your (unmentioned) ram to his 800Mhz ram. Mines Teem Xtreem RAM btw. I'm not sure what the latency is on these (is there a quick way to check?).

Otherwise not bad mate. For a older model.

I recently had to change the PSU, as the one it had would only last 10 minutes or so before freezing, and some days wouldnt turn on at all. When I took the old PSU out, it was directly wired to the fan, not using any type of connector. I just cut through the wires and attached a 9v battery. I'll splice the fans cables onto a cable from the PSU later, maybe when the battery goes flat.

Also, the PSU I'm using at the moment is from an even older computer, probably about 7-9 years old.

Otherwise not bad mate. For a older model.

Thanks for saying it's not bad. Half of the stuff in it I've pinched from older computers to keep it running. I've only not changed the CPU, GPU and Motherboard, as any replacements from older computers would most likely run even worse.

Nice Mzl,

Man that Antec P182 SE is sexy, but I think my P182 is just as good ;). Where did you get that window kit, is it easy to do and what tools do you need.

And you are, his mum? How do you know he sits that close to the monitor each time he uses? He might just put on a show and pull his chair back and watch..

Nice, I like your old G15.

I just got a monitor arm for my ASUS 22" which I'm going to attach soon but before I do that I'm going to spray paint it. A beige arm would look poo on a shiny black LCD so I'm painting it metallic black. Will post pics when I'm done.

Should be good, gives me height, tilt, swivel, distance, all kinds of adjustment! Got it for $60 which is nice.

Nice pick up for the money, can I ask where that is from as I would love to get one as well for my second monitor.

Picked it up from Catch of The Day so it was a limited time offer (1 day) but they will probably have it again.

Sprayed it metallic black this morning and it looks pretty good. Anything above a 22 would be too heavy for it - it just supports my 22" but does what I need and gives me more desk space.

Made a "custom RAM cooler" out of the rather useless (I think) rear Noctua case fan since it was blowing into the Swiftech Radbox wall, not to mention against the radiator Kazes too (yep pulling cool air from the behind the case, through the rad, INTO the rear of the case).

Anyway here are the changes since my last post as new pics and My Rig wiki post also updated (still has the old pics to compare).

Suspending the hard disk cage

Reversed Rad fans and added a basic flywire filter

Piece of transparency as an "air guide" for lower Rad fan exhaust

The ghetto RAM cooler and redone cable management (granted you may not see the difference; just as full of cables :P)

The whole home made RAM cooler thing is from OCAU. Like I had seen it done ages ago elsewhere but not sure how they secured it till someone posted up how they did theirs.
The "standard" custom cooler uses all 4 standoff holes around the RAM with 2 x 80mm fans. But I hate 80mm fans, not to mention didn't have any.

The rest of the desk still looks like this though. (except a hell lot more messy and dusty... which is the reason behind the dark shot lol)

Its at 1.3500V. Small FFT test using Prime95 for 3 hours and Core Temp for readings I get around 47-50C. Temp sits around 26-29C when idle.

Well the DA-151 works like an external sound card it is connected to the my PC using USB. It takes digital audio data and converts it to analog. It then feeds the headphone amp with the audio signal and sweet sound pops out from the headphones.

Nice audio setup mate. Its great to see that theres other people on WP who understand what diff good kit makes. I personally dont have the money to invest in decent kit so i dont bother but that is awesome.

I know people who have great audio setups and they just sound phenominal.
