This thread is for freebies - by definition, that means things that you can get WITHOUT paying for them. So please do not post "10% off", "buy 2 get 1 free" type of offers, as these are NOT free.

***THE RULES***

- DO NOT POST "I also signed up to that offer!" posts - we don't need them.

- DO NOT POST "My X arrived! Colour me excited!" posts. Check first to see if others have already posted - if so - don't, we don't need a page full of Me Too posts.

- DO post brand new freebie offers that you have not yet seen in the thread.

- DO feel free to be humorous or even ask for additional info about Freebies that are not available online. But if they are online, check the website first.

- DO tell us if something is not as stated - but we only need one or two people to tell us, not a dozen "ME TOO!" posts.

- Websites where you play games online, or download games, are NOT Freebies. Keep them in the general OtI threads or Games Lounge. Thank you.

If you post "me too" type posts or "I just got my X!" type posts, your post will probably be deleted with prejudice.

The wiki link is here: Freebies Please consider posting your Freebie there.

And the game version of it: game.giveawayoftheday.com <--- since it's not considered a freebie.

Also, the website above is included in the wiki for freebie, so I guess that should be removed too. ;)

Fill in your details, print out the voucher and score a FREE regular drink when you buy a KFC Snackbox between 2pm And 5pm.

Available at any KFC store. Valid until 4th May 2008.
(Free indicates a regular can or cup. One free drink per person per day.)

Makes for a cheap greasy dinner :)

The good thing is you don't need to provide them with real details. Hit the "download my voucher" button and it will work regardless - directs you to a JPG download.

Strongly discourage anyone from getting one. Have a look at their fees and charges. Nasty!

If you already a bank account, ask your bank if they have a debit card facility. It works just like a credit card, except the money comes out from your bank account. Most of the time, your bank would give you the debit card for free anyway.

You can open a bank account, just for Internet & small transactions you know. You don't need to put all your eggs in a basket. :)

I don't think they would be THAT picky, as long as everything is still legible and you can see the code at the bottom (PLU 29). I'm pretty sure they'd accept a black and white print also. I'd test this out myself but my laser printer is in for repairs :(

I'm guessing it's a problem with the validation code of the field.

Normally it should validate for <string>@<string>.< string>

But it's not. Guess it's busted until someone reports it. (which I just have)

WARNING

Despite clear rules in the OP and a thread warning at the top of each page, many of the posts in this thread are still of the "me too" variety.

These are absolutely pointless. Unless you have new information to provide (e.g. the first to receive an item) or wish to make an original comment on the item (e.g. the item arrived but it didn't work) then do NOT post pointlessly about it.

Users who continue to ignore this warning will have their posts deleted and be placed in the Penalty Box.

FairUse Wizard makes ripping DVDs almost as easy as ripping CDs. You just pop in a disc, decide where to save it, and FairUse Wizard will do all the heavy lifting, ripping and compressing your video using the DiVX, XViD, or H.264 codecs.
This is not the normal free version that limits you to 700M file size, but the full thing.

Available for a limited time (doesn't actually say how long), so get in quick.

15 free family passes to YMCA (VIC only)
(found on Buckscoop, thanks to 'photographyisart')

Must be used between 9 March and 20 April 2008.

Register at:

www.goforyourlife.vic.go...f/docs/PAFC?open

Requested mine and very quickly received membership card in mail a day or two later. Went to my local YMCA with the card, filled in a form and given a 15-visit free family pass for pool, spa, sauna, steam room, gym, group fitness classes and free locker hire (my branch only assumed locker hire was included in the pass as they said they hadn't been instructed otherwise).

If you click on the link and read down a bit it says: -

If all you want is this free trial, you can avoid entering a credit card by choosing Purchase Order On-line.

I selected that and just put 'freetrial' in the company and order number fields, and the order was accepted.

Is this freebie confirmed as being valid? The reason I ask is that the PDF states that Copies not accepted.

Yer, would they count a print out as being photocopied?

Never saw such an offer for this, however $600 of brokerage sounds good.

My NI magazine turned up today, looks like some interesting reading for the next 4 months

I got the magazine a few weeks ago. It is only the first 1000, so it could be over by now or soon.

I got it a couple of weeks ago too, its a nice magazine, supposed to be valued at $40... BUT was printed in 2004... Something tells me its a one off issue ;)

I also got 3 of Ricki's balls yesterday (tennis balls... don't bounce) made of the worst rubber in the world.

Received this vegetarian kit today. It's not really a kit. It's just a magazine with a dvd called "Meet Your Meat." Apparently it is narrated by Alec Baldwin, haha.

I've seen that, it talks about animal torture and shows people torturing animals before slaughtering them

Meet Your Meat is very graphic, but it does show the cruelty of what goes on at alot of these places.
I don't think it is a good thing to show kids, but teenagers would definitely think twice about consuming meat after watching it.
It's no more graphic than an MA rated movie, and it's reality.

Yeh I received that quite a while ago,
It has been stashed away in my wardrobe and not even looked at.
Is there anything worthwhile for an average end-user??
