I truly doubt you will find a wholesaler selling 1.1.2's OTB for $500 AUD or less, delivered into Australia.

Unless they happen to live in Oregon (and a couple other states) the cost is going to be around $430USD per piece and add another $40 to ship 2 phones to Australia at a time, you are looking at around $450USD as their cost price. At todays very good exchange rate, that is $498 AUD as a cost price, without any markup. (This is of course based on shipping 2 phones at a time to keep it under $1000 AUD for customs/GST, to avoid the 11% plus 5% taxes.)

The other factor is that 1.1.3's are being sold more and more now. In our last shipment of iPhones from the US, we received about 100 1.1.2's and 50 1.1.3's. Next weeks shipments are anticipated to be about 80% 1.1.3's, with 1.1.2's on the way to drying up.

As Smooth has said... tell him he's dreaming.

$700+ is more likely and I wouldn't be surprised at 800 or more once the 1.1.2's dry up.

Smooth - ah-haahh, that explains it. The people I bought from on ebay were in Oregon and their price was pretty good indeed...
