Ok, on the shoppingsquare website, the status of my order has changed from processing to dispatched and they sent me an email with my eParcel tracking number. I then went to the eparcel website and tried to track my order. I put in my tracking number and tick consignment and click search. A page then comes up saying "No records match the criteria". I've also tried ticking Article instead of consignment and the same problem occurs. I've also tried searching my shoppingsquare order number and the same occurs

Am I doing something wrong? A shoppingsquare rep said that my order would be delivered today but I can't find my order on eParcel

woops wrong group!

I have had this happen to me a few times. Some things never show up in the tracker. Some things I have had have shown up on it after I have recieved them. I have been told it can take up to 48 hours for tracking info to appear on the aust post site.

hmm...well shoppingsquare changed my order's status on friday arvo at 5:30, so i wonder if weekends are included in the "up to 48hrs"

I've waited for this order to arrive for like 2 weeks :( They didn't have stock until the 27th and had to post on whirlpool to get them to tell me what was up with my order

That's same as mine, it took overnight to change from 'No records' to 'Item in manifest' when it was dispatched on Friday.

Hope it comes soon!

Don't think so, the timestamp is 3AM, so I'm guessing that the tracking system kinda sucks...

For me, it doesn't make any difference if I select article or consignment on www.eparcel.com.au

yeah i've often had parcels not show up on e-parcel. Then a few days later they all just show up at once saying, received, dispatched, delivered. Also it won't update on weekends from my experience.

Just wait the 5-7 days or however long they say for delivery time and ring them up if it hasn't arrived by then.

Eparcels don't show up on the tracking system until it gets scanned at the receivers post office.

The manifest is the paper record of the parcel.
It's quite possible though, the manifest wasn't scanned.

On the other hand; if iit's out for delivery today but there's no record with tracking;
they might have given you the wrong number?

Third, and least common; it just hasn't been scanned yet for some reason.
Unless the warehouse has "processed" the order; but it hasn't actually been collected by auspost yet.

and tick consignment

Consigment is only really for a consignment of more than one parcel; though IIRC, it dosen't matter.

flubber writes...

Not true.
Most of the time; there'll be a manifest scan, then a DC scan, then either delivered or carded.

As for post today;
Some people are working; on penalty rates; but yes, it's our "picnic" day.

I've had things sent through eparcel before and it didn't show up on the tracking until it reached my local post office which was like about 3 days later. So 3 days with nothing showing up on the tracking system.

Which will happen.
But again; *most* will have at least a delivery centre scan first.
It also depends a lot on your local contracter and delivery centre.

Licensed post offices maybe.
Most of the corporate ones are open till 5, some until 6.
Then again; I'm in queensland; so who knows what else goes down.

As for the delayed express...
Well; you get that.

Over 96% of deliveries on time, and 99% within one day last finacial year; we're (as in, Australia, not explicitly referring to auspost) are doing better than most other westernised countries... UK: >94 %, US: >94.

It does help though; at the very least.
The thing most people forget is that some items are "trackable", not "this is an accurate record of exactly where your item is at any given time and how it got there"
Express post; for example.

Most of the time; you'll get a "arrived at delivery centre" scan.
That's all you'll get though.

Manifest received: Post received the paper record of your parcel from the sender.
In transit - Staffor DC: Stafford's delivery has your parcel. Should be delivered that day.

Also; you're in stafford? Can't be too far from me. Stafford are usually good to me.
Well, the contracters are, the postie is a bit iffy.

Edit:
Deatheaters - in response, there are two "transit" scans for a parcel - Arrived at DC and Accepted by driver.

For the public tracking, however, I believe it just takes either, as they both mean the parcel is in the area, and should be attempted delivery that day.

If it isn't, tell them.
They should contact auspost's eparcel area, and post will attempt to locate the parcel.
After that, you'll either have the parcel soon, or they should send a replacement.

I've also seen over two weeks later before.

In general, weekdays, and no public holidays, though a few courier services might offer a saturday service.

Does Kingsgrove service your area, though?
I'm at home, and don't know NSW, though if memory serves, kingsgrove (Parcel Delivery Centre) service a wide area.

Do you have any previous parcels tacking numbers, to see where they were scanned?

Or, it went to the wrong delivery centre.

It happens. There's no guarantee there'll be a scan, much as there usually is/should be.

As I said earlier; The thing most people forget is that some items are usually "trackable", not "this is an accurate record of exactly where your item is at any given time and how it got there"

Did you sign for it?
