I already have the Plane quiet NC7 noise cancelling headphones www.roadlesstravelled.co...eadphones-review

However I noticed in the current Kathmandu catalogue that they're selling it for 1/2 price - $59.95 from 6th Dec - 13 Jan while stocks last so I'd definitely recommend buying it there for Xmas

Have you tried any other noise cancelling headphones? Your review gives a great overview of active noise cancelling technology, but not a word on sound quality.

I wouldn't consider myself qualified to compare sound quality, everyone's ears are different and I'm listening to compressed MP3's, podcasts and audio books so the which are not A1 top quality sound recordings anyway

All I can say is compared to my old www.bhatt.id.au/blog/sen...d-202-headphones the Planequiet NC7's allow me to listen to my mp3 player on trains etc at significantly less volume
