Hi

Anyone managed to get the address book in Leopard to work with a LDAP server?

I've tried all combinations of authentication, base/subtree etc ; a search always return an empty result.

In the console I read:
17/11/07 4:10:34 PM Address Book[4007] [Hydrix] Binding to server did not complete successfully: '-1:Can't contact LDAP server'

Using the same parameters, I have no problem reading entries in say Thunderbird.
I had the address book working in Tiger before.

thanks for any help
Jean-Yves

Works fine here (connecting to an Active Directory ldap server) using 10.5.1's Address Book. I am using the same config as I used in Tiger. Sorry, not really helpful though.

If you still can't get it to work I would suggest submitting a bug report (bugreport.apple.com). I have been pumping a few out myself for issues with Mail and Preview.

Well a lot has changed in 10.5 - certainly a lot of bugs have been introduced when there were none. I still reckon a bug report is your best bet - those guys are quite helpful and can probably get it working even if it were not a bug...
