Hi everyone,
I've been working on an ENTER score calculator/estimator (mainly for the FreeStudyNotes.com community). Basically, you enter in your expected study scores (raw, not scaled), and it tells you what they would scale to (based on 2006 data) and then calculates what ENTER this would result in. I started working on this because I could not find a good online ENTER estimator (the only other one I've seen is BoredOfStudies.org's one, and their server is really slow at times and the data is getting older).

Take a look at entercalc.us.to :)

What do you guys think so far? Any suggestions? I need to work on cleaning it up, but probably won't have time to do this until my exams are over (end of this week).

Thanks! The site is great. The calculator on BOS are slow and are not based on the most recent years. I just love inputting random study scores to see what i'd get =D

Seems quite accurate – it was only 0.05 off my actual ENTER score. For what it's worth, a 45 in English scaled to 45.2 last year.

It doesn't seem to change much year to year, does it? I got 95.35 back in 2003, and according to this it would have been 95.75 in 2006.

The number of students studying each subject and the relative difficult of each subject stays the same throughout. There are some deviations here and there every year, but nothing too substantial.

this is nice, will be good for year 12 people who would otherwise have no idea. I would have got 0.10 more than my 2001 score. Woulda made quite the difference, darn it!

Yeah, it doesn't change too much I don't think.

I'm getting HEAPS of hits to the enter calculator site from this topic... I guess it's that time of year again, Year 12s are going crazy trying to see if they'll go well with their ENTER score :P

Yeha I did VCE in 06 and your calculator was only .15 off what I actually got. Btw, back when I did it, for whatever reason English was scaled down slightly? Your calculator left it the same..?

Anyways good work, the ENTER score calculators we used in 06 were Excel-based and probably not as good.

It says it goes off 2007 data, so it must've stayed the same for that year on certain scores.
