I'm on the Express8 Pro, 25GB is very handy.

+1 for escapenet from me... (the www.esc.net.au one)

One of the more reliable ISP's I've been with.

Yeah I am with EscapeNet (www.esc.net.au) and I have found them to be fantastic.

Never needed to contact them after my initial connection so I cannot speak for their support. But then again, the fact that I haven't had to contact them for support actually speaks volumes for the service they provide.....

I've been in contact once when the sent me a bill for 3 times the amount I expected.

I thought I was on a monthly cycle but they put me on a 3 month cycle. Not a bit issue but was a bit strange.

I agree, they are one of the better ones all round. Been getting super speeds on their Express8 :) And have found support to be helpful (like the 2 times I've needed it)
Have you guys looked at their DSL2+ yet?

It's not available in Werribee until the sun supernovas I believe.

The only provider on www.adsl2exchanges.com.au is TPG and they are only 'planning' to come here at the moment.

We have not registered our dsl2 services in adsl2exchanges. I'll get on to that tomorrow.

In the meantime, you can do a live SQ at www.esc.net.au/sq
If the result is a fail, the sq page will give you a link to follow to register your details for a callback once the exchange is ready.

That wasn't aimed at EscapeNet, it was aimed at *all* the ADSL providers :D

Thanks for the link Stavros. Not available yet :(

Surely a thread like this must make you guys a bit cheery?

The "Express24 Pro" looks tempting.

I'm connected to the Bundaberg Exchange, (about 1.5 km's away) and it appears that Optus has enabled it for ADSL2+.

Is "EscapeNet" able to offer the above plan in my area?.

Cheers

hmm I am also trying to get an ADSL connection on the BBERG exchange.

Starvos you might like to update your Broadband Choice as it states

"This service is available nationwide.
This service is available to you on Bundaberg exchange (QLD)."

but your website says I can't, back to the waiting game for ports to open...

Detritus,

Your exchange is enabled and is showing many spare ports.

Do you want to whim me your number and I will check exactly what is going on.

Hi Richard,

Belmont will have new ports installed in December.

The other two are active, but are at capacity at this stage, however bear in mind that this changes daily. The best thing to do would be to regsiter with us and we will call you once the exchange has additional capacity.

Stavros.
