For ALL ADSL connections in AU, the VPI is 8, VCI is 35.

Primus supports PPPoE LLC or PPPoA VC-MUX.

Your username would probably be <username>@dsl2.iprimus.com. au, passwords default to "adsl" and the last FOUR digits of the home phone number.
If you're unsure of any of these settings, Tech Support is open 24/7.

Not a great link, still all I could find online before losing interest.
A Bunch of AAPT and XYZ DSL services are not using 8 & 35, probably others too but its mostly corp services.

And they probably wouldn't be ADSL services. They'd most likely be a different TYPE of DSL service that isn't Assymetrical.
And in that link you put in, the OP doesn't state what type of DSL service it is, nor give any speed information to deduce the type of DSL.

EDIT: A google search for "adsl vpi vci australia" produced www.edimax.com.tw/html/e...ts/AR-7024Um.htm as the first result.
That page has a list of VPI/VCI pairs for various places around the world. Australia is the top and it states for ALL ISP's that 8/35 is the required pair for vpi/vci.
Again, I would stress that this is only relevant for ADSL services within Australia.

Well then, without a product list on your desk you'd be guessing then :)
