YOUR IQ SCORE IS:

123

A score of 124 or higher is required to qualify for membership in the Society.

Lolz, missed it by 'that' much!

I made it over the line by what you missed out by. 125.
Is anyone getting scores other than those close to the mark?

Because I got over the line I get to pay to join their society. Lucky Me.

General knowledge of trivia is an indicator of IQ? As is short term memory? Sorry, but I call shenanigans.

I still don't like these supposed IQ tests. I got over 124, but will not be joining the high IQ society, thanks. I do these all for fun, were you meant to do TA3 or eCMA?

I find these a joke, too many of the questions are American bias and there is too much trivia. So because I know that Princeton is in New Jersey, I supposedly am smarter then someone who doesn't give two hoots where Princeton is.

tricky test, of questionable accuracy in my opinion, the trivia questions were completely out there and based on nothing but general knowledge, not cognitive ability.

Did anyone else find remembering the squares when they flashed up for a few seconds difficult? All the squares I was able to memorise, the group of answers always seemed to know which ones I'd remmbered and created multple responses with those squares in place - so I was guessing 1 in 3.

I clicked anything because i got bored, and got 92.

Was aiming for mentally deficent but didnt get there.

I dont like these stuides either you need to know everything about everything so i dont really consider it general knowledge

126 for me, which to be honest is a lot lower than i normally score on an iq test... still, its an interesting set of questions.

The inclusion of general knowledge questions (which were American inclined) mean that your score is culturally biased... good IQ tests should be culturally fair.

131, so I guess my award's in the mail. Interestingly, I think that's exactly the score I got in the TV one that Eddy hosted. I wouldn't consider myself any genius, but I'm usually pretty good at those visual memory thingies.

I was all set to prove my genius to the universe, but I had no idea what the hell was happening in the first two questions so I quit in order to save myself the embarrassment of finding out the awful truth about my IQ.

I can now go on thinking that I'm actually smart without having any verified evidence to contradict me. :P

I'll be honest. I blindly guessed my way through the questions with the red/white dots on the black circles, and sort of used The Force on the questions with the dots on the dice-like grids. I cheated with a calculator to double check that X-25%+33%=~X and used Google to look up the definition of Oenophilia before my 90secs ran out. My short term memory has long been shot to pieces so it's anyone's guess how well I did on that section.

Came out the other end with 116 which I'm pretty happy with but not enough to join their stupid club.

The reason I'm not wearing any hat is because I've taken it off to those of you who got 120+ without the shenanigans.

I must admit, that test was pretty boring, thats why so many people just start skipping them.

A few years ago I did a more extensive test and got 122 but I was supposed to be 15 but I did it when I was 13, so it's anyones guess as to what it is. I am not sure if I want to know :P

I thought I was doing ok and was onto question 29, then someone threw something and hit my keyboard here at work - they managed to hit the back-arrow key on the top of the keyboard internet functions :(
The questions reset back to the beginning - I was not happy.

I just can't bring myself at the moment to have another go...

wow, a number of these I purely guessed, so I was really surprised at getting 116. I suck balls at maths and a couple of those first ones were really hard.

Least I made it to the "high intelligence" quartile :)

That's great seeing you are only 15. You show great potential.

Why not go to your local newsagent and buy some IQ test books that you can do and they improve your IQ by exercises in the book. Then in the next 3-5 years your IQ will increase more.

Perhaps one day you can achieve an IQ similar to Marilyn vos Savant of 228 ;)

Cheers

Lisa

134 here. Won't be long now before we see some 140+'ers in this thread ;-) Though I agree with the sentiment expressed in this thread -- this test actually isn't very good by most standards. There are no doubt better ones out there that don't rely at all on cultural/general knowledge.

putting a time limit on each question? - bye!

The outcome of an IQ test is to find out if someone comprehends the questions and answers it correctly. no time limit needed as it does nothing but applying unnecessary pressure. The overall time used for all questions may influence the resulting score a bit.

I've rarely seen an incompetent concept like that test

140, which is what I got for Eddie's one a few years ago and what I think I was at school: img184.imageshack.us/img...estresulttv1.jpg

Yeah, those short term memory ones were annoying, for the first two it had the same pattern for the yellow squares that I'd memorized...and I hadn't memorized any of the others.

And the general knowledge questions, I went ok in them, but yeah heavily American biased, even from the 6 that I got.

Anyway, now if only I can turn this towards footy tipping *mutter*
