I use Firefox 2 and Gmail...its slow to load and stops loading half way through but it works fine in Explorer....I use Explorer only when it's really necessary.

Has anyone had the same problems and is there any way of fixing it?

Thanks.

No problems here. Maybe you can clear cache and do a sys clean up and try again.

Have you tried using Opera?

www.opera.com

Works for me in all 3 browsers though...

Still the godliest webmail :)

Ditto!

No problems with FF and Gmail either to the Gmail browser or to Outlook or Thunderbird.

I have been having all manner of crappy Gmail problems recently (within FF).

Stalls repeatedly whilst loading and never actually completes loading.

Grrr.

I have just installed the "Better Gmail 2" add-on direct from the Mozilla site and it does seem to have fixed the problem. Whether or not it is a total permanent fix I don't know (I did this about two minutes ago), but it might be of help to anyone experiencing similar problems.

Cheers.

I had the exact same issue recently, the fix is to delete your offline content (cookies etc) - do that and all back to normal :)

Tried disabling all of your Firefox Extensions, then re-enabling them one-by-one?

A quicker way to test if it's your Firefox install or not would be to create a blank profile (firefox.exe -profilemanager) and see if it's like that with no extensions enabled.
