Nas - Made you look (war pigs remix)
This would have to be my all time favourite mashup of two songs.
It consists of Nas's poetic street rhymes laced with Black Sabbaths' War pigs.
fits perfectly.

Any of you guys heard of a mashup that's worthy of sharing?

If you read my post correctly I was asking whether other people have found mashups of songs that go well and would like to share, not if its old or new. I tried searching for similar threads but found none, where are you finding yours?

I'm quite fond of Fatboy Slim's 'Rockafeller Skank' mixed with the Rolling Stones 'Satisfaction'. It fits together very nicely.

IMO the best ever made is "A Hidden Forest" by gordyboy - The Cure's "A Forest" blended with the acapella version of Bjork's "A Hidden Place". It sounds almost like an official collaboration, not a mash-up.

I'd second that. Fave tracks are Dirt Off Your Shoulder, and Justify My Thug.

I've also listened to Cheap Cologne's Double Black Album... a mashup of Jay-Z and Metallica, which I thought was crap...

Rockafaction is the track title. I'm sure if you search for Fatboy Slim and Rolling Stones together, you'll be able to find it.

I don't mind Rapture Riders (Blondie and The Doors) or Closer In Da Club (NIN and 50 Cent). I'm open to hearing anything. I also like Black Nosebleeds too (Hilltop Hoods and ACDC).

I've actually got it labeled as 'Satisfaction Skank', but hey, I guess it all sounds the same :)

Mashup ... mashup ... isn't that when some untalented twat gets two shit songs and plays one over the other at the same time resulting in an utter abortion of a track, and then takes the credit for it?

No ... sorry. They all suck.

Ummm well that's not quite how I'd put it.

Anyway, I really like 2manydjs, probably the first As Heard On Radio Soulwax being the best...the second not far behind and the other three or four I've heard being pretty good.
