Hi all,

Just bought 2 of these phones (1 for me and 1 for my wife) but they didn't come with any software for connecting to the PC. Does anyone know if this is available? I assumed (wrongly) that there would be some bundled software to allow for this.

Or am I expected to pay more money to Motorola to obtain this software?

as far as i know my v3 came with cabel and software smae with my rzr so yer

Google around u maybe able to find it :) or eBay has it for cheaper

it also require a mini USB cable (most camera uses it)

Yeh I've got the USB cable but I was just a bit miffed that to access the features of the phone they want more money when it used to come with the CD included. Been Googling but not too much luck, will check eBay I suppose.

It's was a bit hard to find, but you don't need mobile phonetools, just download "razr V3 usb driver.zip" which contains the drivers that allows you to connect and charge the phone on any computer.

Getting a nice collection of software now, thanks for this one, USB charging is nice and handy.

It's a bit annoying that the v3 is not a true compliant usb device that just plugs in without drivers.. but it's still nice and handy for sure.

Yeh it was a bit of a pain to get connected initially but now it is and works 98% of the time (as with all Windows based software!). Sure the novelty of having anything I want as a ringtone will wear off but being able to do it for free never will!
