Ive got some freebie SQL books but they are in .UIF image format . IS there an apps out there for linux that can extract this.

yeah i know its a magic iso type. Unrar for windws csn extrct from a cd/dvd image i just taught i could extract it or mount it

What you need to do is install wine - if you have'nt already - install MagicISO under wine - load up MagicISO under wine and conver the UIF image into ISO format - then you can mount the .ISO under linux -

As no burning program can burn UIF files apart from MagicISO its best to convert the file and burn it under K3B in linux

You don't have to use Wine and MagucISO. An alternative isUIF2ISO, a command-line tool that can convert an .uif image into an.iso image.

Basically install UIF2ISO, create an .iso image, and then mount the.iso with gmountiso.
