Nah it doesnt work.
I think its in the FAQ section of the intazaar site.

Does intazaar send any ad msgs? I just tried sending myself an SMS and it sent anther one saying that I had just sent a msg using Intazaar and that this was a 1 off msg. But does it send this same msg to other phones are SMS too?

I believe it only sends this message once, the first time you sms someone. That is once to EACH person you sms. After that, the sms's just go to the person without a follow-up from Intazaar.

Nope. They seem to have enough trouble keeping the existing service online!

It's great when it does work, but I regularly am unable to login, and have never seen anything on their service status page to indicate an ooutage.

Nor have I been able to find a way to list all the SMS's sent to a particular person. There is an option for it, maybe i'm a bit slow but I cant get it to work.

intazaar seems pretty reliable for me...but i hate the .z it adds on the end :P

motocrew seems to be popular as well.

I found out they must be launching a new version: have a look at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intazaar mind you it has no source to verify it. But the development link looks real.

I have been trying to log on for most of today, 2 different computers (IE on one, firefox on the other).

I either get returned to the login prompt without any message at all, or get:

Oh no! An error has occurred. If you trying to login, close your browser and try again. Other reasons for this error are listed bellow:

The server you are trying to access may be experiencing high levels of traffic

Okay, sorry to be niaeve people.. however I just wondering.. how are is Intazaar able to send 30 sms msgs a day?

As in.. do they pay for this? Do they have some alliance with a telco? Just doesn't make sense. Whats the go?

I believe it's only to australian mobile phone numbers.

Simple, once you register (I did), they get your mobile No then they will bombard you with spam sms.

I've registered my mobile with intazaar and i don't get any spam sms. If you are you might want to look at other possible sources.

My mistake you don't get any spam. This's quoted from Intazaar's FAQ.

I've been using this site for 3 days now and it's been absolutely fantastic. I'm on the Vodafone $500 megacap and this website can save me up to $200+ of that cap if need be.

Interesting. Bigpond Games (Telstra) are the main banner ad.

I think this mob want to attract the mass text user. they offer 30 free sms's per day but any more, you have to pay for an account.

That's how they make their money - just from the small number of people who click or notice their ads.

It's been working fine for me.

its just very very slow.. it seems like the server is getting flooded at certains times of the day.

I use about 10 sms/day usually from about 6pm onwards and in general the service has been fantastic. The odd occasion their has been a problem but most of that has been at my ISP end.

Actually, I worked it out...it was problematic using Opera, but firefox is fine. The problem is probably at my end.

When you go to the Control Panel, on the left is a link for SMS Message History. When you click on this, it will bring the appropriate page up ... then look for the textbox labelled "Show only messages sent to this number", and type the number in, without the leading zero. So if you've sent messages to 0411 222 222, you need to enter 411222222.

Yeah.... damn!! it has been trying to load for like 10 mins now, no luck. As long as I'm not the only one having problems. iiNet have has many problems lately and I don't know if its me or the site half the time.

I think they are blocking competition numbers now, because standard mobile numbers work, but try a 199 number, not working anymore

I've been a long time intazaar member. Yesterday and today it won't let me log in. It doesn't say an error or anything...it just won't LOAD and let me get to send sms??

by the way...do you have to pay for the intazaar mms? I haven't looked into it?

I've been a long time intazaar member too, but realised I had to register again after the generation 3 thing came out.

I just tried to login just then, it logs in just fine for me.

Also, try using IE for signup, sometimes in Firefox, the 3rd step of the registering process doesnt load for me, this may be the case for you in not LOADING.

You don't have to pay for MMS during the beta testing period.

I have been registered with intazzar for a while and had to re-register for the 3G thing..but now it seems a bit hit and miss as in the person i send messages to will only recieve them occassionaly.. just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem? its to a optus mobile by the way..

during their maintenance period when you could still send sms it was working flawlessly..i have no idea why it would get flaky all of a sudden :-(

I think intazaar is DEAD....
I have re-registered ....still can't log on. Very sad as I'm a solid intazaar user(not copious amounts but 1 or 2 every day or so...was perfect for me.

guys i want to let you know that, i had login problems for weeks, could no login. I factory reset my router and BAM bobs ya uncle it all worked!

Yeah it is rather weird about logging in: I can do it on two pc's just fine. But on the third there is no way to get past the login screen, and I have emptied the cache and deleted cookies.

According to the Intazaar site, "pic messages are now online". But when I sent one, it just sends a *web link* not the pic itself :(

sandrad listen to twhat i said, you need to factory reset your router to make it work again. it drove me nuts for 2 weeks until i reset the router.

Tried to send an sms from work today, and was blocked by the NSW DET filtering system, saying that intazaar was a dating website . . .damn, now to get my pudgy fingers onto the phone . .. . grrrrrrr

Intazaar doesn't appear to be working. I sent a couple of SMS to myself just to test, and it says it sent them, but I have not received them on my phone. It's usually pretty quick, but it's been about 20mins now and still haven't got it.

Do you guys have the timezone problem ? (it's 12:03 pm but when it's sent, the message is at 1.03 a.m..?) it's kinda hard to find that sms among my other recent SMSes! :)

Not sure about your timezone problem. I think when I signed up, it asked what capital city I was in. Perhaps you entered that incorrectly?

Ahh seems intazaar system is a bit shaky atm , I thought it was just me when this started not sending sms's . I have emailed them but they are very slow to respond.

Intazaar doesn't have a logout button and doesn't have permanent cookies. Simply close the browser window to log out. It will not automatically log you in (like Whirlpool does), but your password will be automatically filled in if you set your browser to remember it.

Nope

Are you using Windows Vista? Intazaar may need Adobe Flash installed, and the only way to do that on Vista is to download the .exe from adobe.com and install manually and not through FF's own auto-installer.

they see it for your number but on every msg u send it has a ".Z" on the end.
also, the first time you send each person a message they also receive a promotional message along side that.

apart from that i am happy with Intazaar (When it is working)

there is a new service called youtext, it's very primary atm but it works. no real features as of it but simple sms works , www.youtext.com.au I'm happy with it till intazzar gets fixed.
