Last night I had our TPG internet changed over to ADSL2+.
I tested the speeds and they were not up to scratch. Reading on other post i decided to try and update my firmware from the dlink website to adjust for the ADSL2.

My modem now appears to be dead. I am able to get power when plugged into the wall, but when i plug in the phone line, the status bar and ADSL confirmation light do not light up.

Is there anything I can do to fix this or have I created a brick to sit all my coasters on?

There are some notes here...

...and you could use the V2.00B02.AU 20050914 EXE version firmware to recover by using 'corrupt mode' or whatever it's called.

Edit - above link is for Revision B hardware.
Below link is for Revision A hardware.
