I've recently downloaded the new iTunes 5.0, upgrading from 4.9 and whenever i reach the near end of installation, an alert box comes up with the following: |

bonjour is apple's implemtation of upnp. I'm not quite sure why iTunes needs it.... That is the real question! |

I noticed this is service has replaced itunes helper... maybe itunes helper did the same thing? |

The same thing happened to me and i havent been able to fix it- i dont even know what bonjour service is - i jsut want my itunes back because windows media player i giving me the shits. How do i fix this problem? |

iTunes 5 died on me today and just kept crashing every time I tried to open it so have managed to uninstall and go back to 4.9 which seems to be working. |
