Hi all Can anyone give me some help on setting up adam talk on a Cormain GW211 ATA running off a dynalink 1025w. Wireless is already fun and internet is ok. Just dont no how to set up the ata |

I'm not entirely sure that's a supported device. All you should need is: AdamTalk Settings Username: yourusername (without @adam.com.au) As for where you enter the details, you'll have to figure that out (either by digging through the config or googling for it) |

Schlampe is correct, the VOIP settings you may need are listed here : http://www.adam.com.au/techsupport/advancedsettings.php As far as the Cormain GW211 goes, I found a user manual zip on their website seems to have everything you might need to connect it up. Have followed the instructions in the Cormain GW211 book and also have spoken to Adam helpdesk but for the life of me cant get it to work. Reg light is on front of ata. lights up on phone when i dial a number but all i get is like a constant enganged sound. anyone have any idea. Adam helpdesk have said all is fine there end and says im online. close to throwing the thing lol |

The engaged sound is likely just how the tones are configured in your ATA. Depending on the settings, which you can change in your device. From memory, others have mentioned a similar thing with Billion units as well. If our help desk reports your device is registered, try giving your mobile a call and see if it does ring through. Should you have no issues in doing so and your mobile rings ok, have a play with your ATA to see if you can modify the tone (or region) settings of your device. - Dy |
