Hm, Check your profile manager through your members area. It will tell you if you are having dropouts and how frequently.
Change your profile onto a slower speed/option if you're having big troubles :)
Most modems should reset automatically if they loose auth/sync? It would be a worry if yours doesn't.

I am on the Woodville exchange and I have been having the same problems as you since Sunday. I am still having constant dropouts today (20). I have not had this problem to this extent until now. I have just changed my performance profile to see if this fixes the problem.
Are your dropout problems solved yet?

me too guys, Im on woodville and last 2 days have been shocking, not only that i usually get speeds of 5 – 6 Mb but last 2 days its been half that !!
adam denies any problem, just tell me it could be my line – funny that because my line hasnt changed in the last five years and Ive always got good speeds with zero dropouts.
although adam were good in that they wanted to problem solve for me but i think I'll just ride out the storm.

Mine doesn't :( Well my modem actually freezes and locks up! Only way to get it up and running again is to reboot it manually via the plug....

Well I have dropped my performance profile down and it STILL drops out all the time. Rather annoying in the middle of a game of COD4. Nothing has changed in years at my end either same line I have always used. Never had this amount off loosing sync before.
Anyone else still having problems?

This is getting beyond a joke. I cant play COD4 any more without it dropping out every 5 minutes. Tonight it has been the WORST it has been for ages it has dropped out 4 times while I am typing this. I have been connected with Adam for about 4 years and have changed nothing and I have never had this much trouble:(
Is anyone else on Woodville having trouble tonight?

a dropout could be a loss of line sync, or a loss of auth/ppp. does your ADSL/Sync light stay on when you get a dropout?
4 years and have changed nothing
ALOT of people say "oh i haven't changed anything to the line". The customers premises is only an extremely small part of the line. Just because you haven't changed anything there doesn't mean the line hasn't changed. The kilometers of cable from your house to the exchange can change due to age/weather conditions/line maintenance etc.

if it is your line sync that is dropping it is most likely line specific not exchange specific.

Don't suppose you have an old modem lying around you can try? (or borrow a friends or something)?

What modem are you using Shaun ?
Do you have to reboot your modem or does it reset itself ?
