Hi guys,
I'm currently using Amnet's webmail inbox, and it's being pretty troublesome.

1) It never seems to remember me, no matter how many times I tick the box.

2) Every mode seems to take years to load compared to other webmail sites (even my uni is faster!)

3) The Simple mode (not the basic one) doesn't let me reply to messages – I hit replay and then it won't let me edit the email.

4) The Advanced mode fails to open messages, saying something about failing to find the end of MIME messages.

I'm using the latest Firefox, with hardly any addons. Is anyone else coming across similar issues, and if not, what might I be doing wrong?

(Don't get me wrong, this isn't a whinge post – it works ok for what I need. I just have the feeling that it's been designed to work better, and something is preventing that).

Thanks,
LH

No, it's not just you.

Speed is ok for me, but I cannot reply with Firefox. Ok with IExploder.
Firefox 3 broke something, you will find plenty of threads about it...

Thanks for the reply!

I didn't search the forums since I've been checking them regularly for a while, and I didn't think I would have missed that. Then again, I can be rather absent minded.

Anyhow, that thread is from June; the fact that Amnet have done nothing visible to remedy this is somewhat disturbing. Though as I said before, their service otherwise has been very good.

Amnet have an AtMail (http://www.atmail.com) system... Amnet would (should) have just filed a bug report and waited for the response / bugfix / upgrade.

This assumes someone has actually logged a call with Amnet to advise them of the issue.

- They are not mind readers
- they do not have crystal balls to tell them where silly little problems like this are
- they dont sit there all day every day testing every little aspect of the system looking for problems such as this

Has someone actually contacted the Amnet Helpdesk and logged this as a problem?

I would, but I am not a customer.
