Anyone else noticed that in the last couple of days their e-mail to US are being blocked?
I keep getting back reports like:

I'm new here, please be nice

i confirmed this by sending a test to an att address

521 <0.0.0.0> is blocked

The sending system has been identified as a source of spam.

Please see http://www.att.net/general-info/521.html for more infomation

it would seem that amcom has managed to get itself blacklisted on spamhaus, or one of many other spam filtering projects/services

i was able to send ok from my own domain, it is hosted within the us
have also sent from a @xxx.wa.gov.au domain ok

so this is an issue with amcom being blacklisted

hope that helps

Yep – the admins had nothing better to do that day but to work on getting the mail server black listed – lol

I would say a customer has either been infected with a bot/virus/trojan or one of the co-lo customers has been 'emailing all their customers' again.

But it would be nice to have the Amnet do something after few weeks to have themselves taken off the AT&T black list. AT&T are the major provider in US and we are prevented to send e-mail there. There surely are business customers who are suffering too.

Did you log a call or send an email about it?
