Bring back MyFoto, it was brilliant!!!

I believe the WN partnership with crapfish is a big step backwards. I used to be able to upload hi-res pix to MyFoto and link to them on various forums on which I am a member. Sure, you can do this with sf but you are absolutely limited to 15x10cm pix :( whereas with the old MyFoto you had no size limits.

As an added bonus, all the linked pix I had in MyFoto are now broken links.

As for snapfish itself, it is little more than an advertising site for their products, of which I have no interest whatsoever, under the guise of providing a storage service. It is no better than Imageshack or Photobucket.

Another way of WN cutting costs with little regard to customers IMHO.

I shudder every time WN announces a change :(

I agree, I just deleted all my pics and closed the account. Snapfish is bad. Plus I get spam telling me how good they are...

Westnet are getting closer to being Just another large ISP. Its been about 10 years on Westnet now.

Might have a look at cable, especially if the bring they high speed stuff to Perth. I know its Telstra, but I have had a NextG data card for 12 months and never needed support. Works perfectly.

I have used the snapfish service via Rabbit Photo have found it be very good. I used it a fair bit last year for Christmas and Birthdays. Doing something different this year.

I never used the old MyFoto service (I did sign up for it however).

my wife just used Crapfish / Rabbit photo service. Snapfish are useless ! 11 days and still no photos. Rabbit Photo however have been helpful to deal with trying to find out what's going on, whereas Snapfish customer service is outsourced to India (where else), and all they can do is tell you they are sorry, say they will follow it up, escalate it, but ultimately do nothing and don't reply back. Pathetic customer service. The last thing they told us is because we opted for the photos to be picked up from a store, they said it's out of their hands, and said it's Rabbit's problem. Meanwhile speaking with Rabbit we find out there's another 3rd party involved in this whole process, Photo Create. So if I understand the process correctly, you place an order with Snapfish, it goes to Rabbit, it then goes to PhotoCreate, then delivered back to Rabbit. Too many links in the chain if you ask me. Crapfish is just a marketing company IMHO. In future will be going direct to the company that prints what we want, and none of this convoluted process.

I could not recommend Crapfish at all. They won't be getting anymore of my hard earned cash.

I have been unsuccessful so far trying to stop Westnet/Snapfish spamming me..

One more time and they will have the whole domain blocked.

Westnet seem to have missed the boat with the whole Snapfish partnership.

The only thing I've heard is negative comments about them and I have to agree since I was also spammed originally when I didn't opt in for anything.

They had a good thing going with MyFoto and they stuffed it up. That's just my personal opinion.

Also the whole you need to order something to keep your photos online every now and then is ridiculous also.

There's no way I'll be using them.

I'm new here, please be nice

Today I received a photobook from SNAPFISH and it would have been great if it was the one I ordered! I have someone else's photobook. Customer service-which is in India by the way could not be less interested in my problem if they tried. They just re-ordered my book and that was it. I would like to give the book back to the family that it was made for and I would like my daughter's graduation book too. Talk about invading people's privacy. Snapfish users beware your photos could end up anywhere. Mine have and the only course of action I have is to phone India.

Received 2 photobooks fropm them this week and the photo quality is crap, the :"yellow" of the printer is misaligned with the other colours, obviously no one checked both of the books.

One had a Square cut out in the front as have previous one but the second had a rectangle which cropped out the main part of the photo behind it.

I am a tad P'd with them I must say. I cant get a satisfactory reply.

Hi All,

Thank you for your comments and feedback in regards to the Westnet Photo Centre. I am certainly concerned by what I have read and am keen to get to the bottom of some of the problems that have been reported. For those who have received products which are less than the quality you would come to expect, I am keen to take a look so I can investigate further. If there's any way you can scan them in or post them to me (I will obviously return them ASAP) that would be much appreciated. My email address is .

Many of the Westnet staff have ordered and received products including mugs, books and calendars and have not had a problem to date so there may be a number of possibilities I would like to explore such as a bad batch or problems with the peak period around Christmas.

Netparsley – I have PM'd you to ask for your Photo Centre email address in private so that I can dig deeper and find out exactly how this has happened. It certainly has alarmed us and I am keen to get to the bottom of it ASAP.

Thanks again and I will keep you all posted in regards to these issues.

Kind Regards,

Clare

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to follow up on my post from Friday. I've now been in touch with Snapfish regarding the issues that have been reported in this thread.

They are currently processing thousands of orders every day and unfortunately, with such high volumes going through, human error can creep in.

Snapfish are continually working to improve their processes and staff training to minimise such errors.

They do have processes in place on the rare occasion when an incorrect item is received and I urge anyone with an issue to contact customer care at .

As stated in my post above, I have seen many of the Snapfish products and have personally ordered products for friends/family and never had an issue with delivery or quality.

Please rest assured I am keeping a close eye on the Photo Centre and the feedback that I receive on a daily basis and will continue to do so, especially during the busy Christmas period.

Just to update you all on my "SNAPFISH" photobook which I ordered but never recieved. To my horror I was sent someone else's photobook!
Clare Witham has looked into it but I feel that I have been fobbed off to customer care who have passed my case onto someone else in customer care. Get the drift!!
The emails will be endless no doubt as I move from one customer care person to another.
So somewhere out there is my photobook and who knows who has it or what they will do with it. Do SNAPFISH really care?? It's not looking like that to me. Good Luck to anyone who believes that their personal photographs are safe. Mine certainly aren't any longer.
