Hey, i'm getting this strange problem when i trace these servers (q3 servers):

gs2.premiumgamer.com and gs3.premiumgamer.com are on the same switch... Any ideas what might be causing this problem?

Also, why does TPG route me through sydney to brisbane, back to sydney? don't they peer with pipe?

did i do something wrong? do i need to specify more detail? do you not like newbies? please, tell me what i can do to get some helpful advice from you guys.

What's the issue? One host is probably configured to ignore pings etc.

i can trace to both. Maybe they are blocking your network range or IP

TCP/IP is a dynamic protocol which was designed to survive the nuclear Holocaust.
If one path isn't working it finds another.
_Perhaps_ the link from TPG to Pipe in Sydney wasn't working so the system found a way round via Brisbane.

I can trace to both gs2 and gs3 and get a response here in SE Qld.
