I have been, but I would hazard a guess that it's going to take a while for others to be moved over. If you take the 200,00 odd active connection/accounts, plus all the additional email address those accounts might have, and then take into account that Westnet would be trying to migrate customers in a way that would create minimal downtime, my guess is that it may take a while.. I would just be patient, it will happen... |

hi, just wanting to know who has not been changed over to the new webmail. They will eventually get you moved over. It would not be too much longer. |

I've been waiting years, well you get the picture! They must be putting ALL their resources into ADSL2+ stand alone products with iinet. This surely must of been pushed onto the back burner as it shouldn't be taking this long. |

This surely must of been pushed onto the back burner as it shouldn't be taking this long. Actually, the migration is well underway – it's just a very large scale project. The raw amount of data in our mail-store alone meant that the migration itself was planned to take many months from the outset. For those of you who haven't been migrated just yet, I'd request that you be patient – I can understand the frustration, but we absolutely haven't forgotten you! PS: And before anyone asks, the migration scheme isn't based on the first letter of your username ;) |

PS: And before anyone asks, the migration scheme isn't based on the first letter of your username ;) You realise you are gonna have to tell us what it is based on now Matt! :P Personally I don't care as I never use Westnet webmail, so feel free to put me last :) I really don't get what the rush is though, it is just a way of getting email from a web browser right, you didn't invent one that does the ironing did you? (then I might be interested) |

I get that, but I've been with WestNet a while (my main account email is a @wn.com.au one) and my email to test the new system didn't even get an automated reply, and now after receiving a number of Emails praising the wonderous new system I'm still logging into the same old bland webmail. To be honest I'm over it, the new web mail had better be gold plated with dancing girls and booze or it's just going to be a rather annoying chapter in my time with WestNet. |

Hi Adrian, I can assure you the resources involved with the ADSL2+ products are not the same resources working day after day to get our 300,000+ mailboxes over to the new system. To do the migration right, with as little disruption as possible, it will unfortunately take some time. We will get there. If you don't have an associated Domains account you should be done at most within the next few months, more likely sooner. We have modified some of our internal processes to speed the migration up. We are doing it as fast as we can. I can't wait to have our entire base over to the new system! Regards, Jonathon |

Great. Good to have constant feedback. I just wondering because I got an email saying the new web mail is here, yet it isn't for some. |

I get that, but I've been with WestNet a while (my main account email is a @wn.com.au one) Im pretty sure the Migration system won't be migrating based on how long you have been with Westnet. I can, however, see your point, but then again Im sure there are customers that have been with Westnet since the start, and when you concider the customer base, your still only 1 person. Thats not to say that Westnet don't care about you (Im sure the awesome customer service is a great example of how they do dare), but you can't expect them to be able to keep up with every customers loyalty. and my email to test the new system didn't even get an automated reply Im sure there was a reason....but yeah...I got nuthin To be honest I'm over it, the new web mail had better be gold plated with dancing girls and booze or it's just going to be a rather annoying chapter in my time with WestNet. I can assure you that the new webmail is dam awesome, I have been using it instead of Thunderbird, its a wonderfully designed system that has more features than most email clients. Not saying it's gold plated, but im very impressed with it... |

the new web mail had better be gold plated with dancing girls and booze Not saying it's gold plated ... just to be clear, I don't believe it has dancing girls or booze zimlets either. If that's what you think every great webmail client should have though, the opportunity is there to win (check out the Oct newsletter) if you want to take a shot at developing those zimlets ;) Always good to hear your constructive comments Luthor. I move the bar up to only show latest last four or five emails, yet each time I log in, the bar is down the near bottom again. Is there anyway to get it to remember where I positioned that preview pane bar? |

Is there anyway to get it to remember where I positioned that preview pane bar? Unfortunately not. We recognised this earlier on and have voted an existing bug (http://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=25053). -Jonathon |

Hi Enlightenment, That's a little odd. Would you be able to call our support line or email support@westnet.com.au (I assume you have an email client also set up on a PC) about the issue ? |
