You will need to be more specific, like which suburb, as even one suburb away the service could be very different. It really depends which tower and even sector within a tower you connecting to.

like previous post and other threads in these fourms about VBB there is nothing to say that this will work.

that is why there is a 30 return policy on this product BB@H.

I live in the Gold Coast. Service here has been horrible for the past year... but in the last month I have to say I am very happy with the service.

My family has a connection at Deer Park, 3023. There service has been crap since they bought it and still is. It regularly disconnects, and has regularly outages in the evening. Modem has been flashed to the most recent firmware and everything.

My USB mobile virgin is wonderful here in the Gold Coast, but is crap at 3023. Service will disappear for hours almost every night completely.

I too live at Deer Park (Cairnlea to be exact) I too experience regular dropouts phone cutting off and very low signal. I have had the modems firmware flashed to the latest but still hasnt fixed the issues. Once again night time at peak periods are the main problems. (time which i want to use it). I have looked into a external aerial but seem fairly dear.

I also have a virgin mobile which shows 4 out of 5 bars but get a lot of static whilst talking. I have had Virgin BB just over a year and today i rang telstra to ask for a new phone line and looking at getting ADSL
