Just wondering if others are having issues with Net Usage Item for Comcen/Spin in Firefox.
Mine stopped working this morning on my computer, and yesterday on my son's. Not seeing any error, just a red x on the bar.

Yeah – as the Net Usage thing is just a data scraper, if the web page it scrapes changes, then the data will not be parsed correctly.

Contact the people who make the Net Usage addon and let them know – they may not even know it's broken as of yet.

Why do you say that? do you have information that suggests it won't?

I ask as I was just about too shoot off an email to the addon's author.
Which I'll still do anyway...

Looks like contact has been made and information passed on.

I emailed too but have not had a reply. Hopefully the fix is in the works.
The author has a donate button on the extension's website: http://netusage.iau5.com/
Maybe if you've used this for a while and only now it's gone realize how great it is a donation may be in order?
I've used this extension for years and really do miss it when it's gone.

That's the way I'm pretty sure everyone had it setup. I know I haven't changed it and that is how I had to make it work originally. It is still set that way now.

I think you are misunderstanding the issue, Spin/Comcen updated their website and that is what is preventing the net usage extension from working.

How about offering a vote of thanks for ^critters who does not get paid for this – does it in his own time – and does a good job at that at it. Considering it was down for only 7 days before he posted the new version which fixed the issue – I say good job and very timely.

Yeah, what AuS said, actually how about just don't be a jerk.
First you post saying that it won't be fixed:
"this net usage idem for firefox wont be fixed for comcen/spin ..... grrrrr"
Then your next comment on the subject is: "good about time".

Am I feeding a troll here or is this poster really just a selfish jerk?

How hard is it to just say thanks to the author for their hard work, or even just not post anything.

Why act like a spoiled brat about it?
