Hi,

I have rung iiNet @ 8 times and each time get a different answer on this!

If some-one is on an ADSL1 only exchange, on a Telstra port through AAPT, can they fast churn to iiNet?

The iiNet list of ISPs that fast churn includes AAPT but several iiNet CSOs have said that a fast churn from AAPT to iiNet is not possible and the customer has to dissconnect from AAPT first, and risk losing port.

Just wanna clarify this

AAPT does support both L2 transfer and DSL/SSS Transfers.

AAPT are definitely on the fast churn list for both ADSL1 and ADSL2+. So you shouldn't need to disconnect from them unless we request you too.

Yeah that's what I thought looking at the list on the Website, but then 50% of the iiNet Customer Service people said they didn't.

No surprises there really.

I can confirm that it's fast churn from AAPT ADSL1 to iiNet ADSL2+ having just gone through that process. Took five working days for me. Your mileage may vary.
