I am currently with Westnet and have been for over 2 years. I have a wireless modem which is an open networks 624w and a phone account with Westnet (Which I never use) Basically what I would like to do is churn from Westnet and keep everything I currently have except the phone bill and obviously a cheaper plan. Has anyone else churned from Westnet? What is the procedure? Thanks for your help. |

I forgot to mention that I would like to start using VOIP to compensate for the loss of my landline. |

Am I missing something here or is non phone Z actually $55 a month? I'm not quite sure what you're thinking, but the total monthly cost for NonPhone Z* is $45/mth. The price includes line rental, ADSL2 plan, 4GB peak + 48GB offpeak allowance, 1 x VoIP DID, and the first 100 national calls by VoIP. There's other stuff too, but I don't want to sound like an advert. |

For VOIP, MyNetFone is worth a look. It's what I use. Whilpoolsaver plan. $0/month with 10c calls. see /forum-replies.cfm?t=999797 or https://www.mynetfone.com.au/whirlpool [Edit: Although the default Exetel VOIP plans look very reasonable too and are an option] |

[Edit: Although the default Exetel VOIP plans look very reasonable too and are an option] I havnt looked at Exetel VOIP plans for awhile; one reason I didnt go with them was they didn't have my area code. (But mynetphone did). Maybe this has changed now. |
